Thanks everyone for being patient while I figured this internet business out. Must be Paris!
So this is my original post written a few days ago, but I was unable to load the photos so I didn't want to post it sans pics, what's the fun in that........Original post startiiiiiiiing now.
I had sooooo much stuff to do before leaving. Of course I waited till the morning I left to finish packing! So I made it to Paris fine.....great in fact....My seat on British Airways going from LAX to London double booked my seat, so as compensation they bumped me to first class. That's right....first class on a 10 hour flight. I tell ya that was the best sleep I've ever gotten during any kind of transit. I loved the very attentative flight attendants serving champagne and fine dining. I really don't know how I could go back to coach after that. I don't want to think about that now.
As I mentioned in my first post, once I landed in Paris, after a long journey, I needed a macaron STAT! Good thing Eric read my blog before picking me up because the first thing he did, after being apart 4 months mind you, was hand me a box of Macarons! J'aime Macarons, et toi aussi Eric!Here are some pictures from my first two days in Paris.....
Kid getting arrested for selling miniature eiffel towers on the Champs Elysees....apparently that is illegal.
Had my portrait done in next to the Sacre Coeur. I thought it was going to be one of those cheesy caricatures, but it actually turned out really nice.
We just arrived in Marseille to Eric's sisters adorable apartment. Will post pics after our exploration of the city.
